Al-Sadd head coach Jesualdo Ferreira expressed his delight after his side racked up a big 7-1 win over Al-Kharaitiyat in Round 12 of the QNB Stars League.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Ferreira said: “I am very happy with this big scoreline. We are now thinking about what comes next, as several of our players will be away on international duty until November 20. Al-Sadd are the biggest contributor to the national teams.”
He added: “We will plan for the upcoming stage so as to prepare well. Our aim is to win the league title.”
“Today, we played in an attacking manner and scored seven goals. We could have scored more, as we had full control over the game. The respect we gave towards the opponent is the biggest reason for this result, in addition to the strong desire of the players.”
