Umm Salal coach Aziz Ben Askar spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 3 match against Al Wakrah.
“We cannot build a team within 10 days, which was the pause between the current season and last season, and we need more time. I think we will have a chance to start real work during the break after the Al Wakrah match.
“Al Wakrah are a very good team and they won against Al Duhail last week. We expect the match to be difficult. We are used to playing against them and we will focus on ourselves. We have prepared well in order to be at our best in this match.
“We did not score any goal so far, but we appeared strongly. So I see the situation is very good and it will be better in the future,” said Ben Askar.
