Qatar SC coach Younis Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 2 match against Al Kharaitiyat.
“The match against Al Kharaitiyat will be of utmost importance, especially as our team aspires to change the way it appeared last season.
“We lost to Al Gharafa in Week 1, but there were many gains from it. Against Al Kharaitiyat, we will hopefully return to victories. In the normal situation, I am very optimistic and confident that the team will appear well.
“It may be difficult for both teams, especially since we are coming from a loss in the first round, and each of them seeks to compensate for it in the second round.
“Al Kharaitiyat are an ambitious team. They are no longer in the Second Division and are looking for a safe situation in the league.
“It is difficult to judge the teams, especially when we are at the beginning of the league, and that the two teams fought two difficult matches against strong sides Al Gharafa and Al Sadd respectively.
“We will try to get our players to full readiness for the match on the psychological and technical fronts, and there is great work by the management and technical staff, and we hope to achieve the best,” said Younis.
