Al Sadd captain Xavi Hernandez is to be out of action for four weeks due to an injury he sustained during training.
The Spanish star, who got injured on his right foot, will undergo a treatment and rehabilitation programme for around a month before returning to action.
Al Sadd are preparing for the rest of QNB Stars League, which will resume on 14th February, and other competitions. They will play hosts to Al Khor in Week 16 on 16th February.
Al Sadd players, who did duty for triumphant Qatar at the recent Asian Cup in the UAE, will join the squad on 11th February.
The Wolves are leading the QNB Stars League table with 38 points after 15 rounds.
