Al Duhail’s Under-23 coach Madjid Bougherra said it was a game of 50-50 chance for both teams in the QSL Cup final and that they were disappointed to lose.
“We’re disappointed. It was a difficult game. It was like 50-50 chance for both teams. But this is football. I congratulate Al Gharafa. Special congratulations to our Under-23 players.
“We wasted a lot of chances, especially in the second half. We had expected to score. Had we converted, the result would’ve been different,” said Bougherra.
