Umm Salal coach Laurent Banide spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Shahania.
“This game is very important for us in our campaign and we need to be focused until we reach our ultimate goal. The focus will not only be on Al Shahania, but on all our upcoming matches.
“We have a lot of positives, but we have to work harder. We respect all teams and at the same time we trust our abilities and it is important that we stay focused.
“We have showed inconsistency during our campaign, but that has to be changed. We need to be more organised and it is important to strengthen the spirit of all players,” said Banide.
Umm Salal player Dheyab Al Inabi said, “We hope to be in the top four. If we beat Al Shahania and depending on the result of the match between Al Rayyan and Al Sailiya, we will progress. We lost five points in the last two matches and we hope to compensate for that.”
