Al Arabi coach Heimir Hallgrimsson spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 15 match against Al Shahania.

“Everyone still remembers the struggle we had against this team in the first leg. It was a hard-earned victory for us. There is no doubt that both teams know very well how important the three points are, especially as we are approaching the end of the league and everyone is looking forward towards achieve the targets.

“Also, my confidence in Al Arabi players is big, after the team found a clear footballing identity and personality while facing any opponent. My wards are noted for their high fighting spirit as they go in search of victories and that increases my confidence in them. Now we are playing with more than one tactic, we do not rely on one method.

“We are ready to deal with any situation, we will see what Al Shahania will do. Also, we will see the reaction of Al Arabi players and how they will deal with the match.”

“Frankly, I am not satisfied with the fifth position. We deserved a better position. We lost many points which we deserved to get. I want my players to keep performing with a high spirit to improve our position in the table,” said Hallgrimsson.
