Al Ahli coach Nebojsa Jovovic spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 16 match against Al Rayyan.
“We have benefited a lot from our preparations to face Al Rayyan. We respect all opponents. We are playing against a big team, which is competing for the league title.
“I know Al Rayyan very well. They are a strong team with a good attack line. I have great confidence in my team and our players are capable of achieving positive results in the next stage. I would not be here if I did not have confidence in the team and its ability to achieve our target.
“The league is full of challenges, some players have left and we have to work towards replacing them. We must work to face all challenges.
“We have some injured players and I do not like to talk about negative things. We have a limited number of players and I work with them to complete our journey this season. We must take advantage of their energies, no matter how many players we have,” said Nebojsa.
