Kotoko coach Osei wants to sign strikers for GPL second round

Asante Kotoko coach Michael Osei has expressed the desire to bring in a forward to strengthen the team’s attack.

The Kotoko trainer made this disclosure after their 1-0 win over Inter Allies on match day 13 of the Ghana League at the Baba Yara Stadium.

“I’m aware we’ve a problem with striking. Obed Owusu wasn’t fully fit. Elvis Amoh was also returning from injury. Therefore, we needed to improvise. Dauda Mohammed wasn’t there. Kwame Boateng is also injured so we had things difficult in attack” he said.

The Porcupine Warriors are now 3rd on the league standings with 23 points after match-day 13 of the Ghana Premier League
