Al Kharaitiyat coach Yousef Adam spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 2 match against Qatar SC.
“Important and difficult match for both teams, especially since Al Kharaitiyat and Qatar SC are coming from defeat in the opening round. We will work to compensate in this round.
“It is natural for any team to be at psychological disadvantage after suffering a big-margin defeat, but thank God most of our players have a great professional mentality. I see that they have overcome this loss and it was evident at the training session, where the players’ morale was good and they became more focused on the second-round match against Qatar SC.
“I think the atmosphere will be different from the previous match in all aspects, especially with regard to the climate. We played the first match against Al Sadd in an airconditioned stadium and the game against Qatar SC will be in a non-airconditioned stadium.
“We have become accustomed to such situations because most of our players played in the Second Division in non-airconditioned stadiums. We will be ready for the match,” said Yousef.
