The team defender Lucas Mendez was present in the press conference about the team's match against Al Rayyan in Sheikh Jassim cup final which was held this morning in the press conferences hall in Al Sadd club .
Mendez said : " We are infront of an important and strong confrontation against Al Rayyan and we know the strength of Al Rayyan and its special performance and the abilitues of its big players but we want the title this time after we lost in the last season because of bad luck " .
Lucas expressed his trust in his teammates , he said : " My teammates are planning to continue the gooad appearance and keeping the team's place after we were able to achieve three championships in the last season , and now we are in a new season and we want to prove our abilities ".
Lucas said : " Our ambition is big and the team has to continue the special appearnce this season and work hard to keep the titles it achieved the last season , and our confrontation against Al Rayyan will be a real exam before the beginning of the league competition ".
