Al Duhail face Qatar SC in Round 4 (Group A) of the 2020-21 season Ooredoo Cup at the Qatar SC Stadium on Wednesday. The kick-off is at 17:15.
Reigning QNB Stars League champions Al Duhail are lying last in the group. They have yet to open their account, having lost 1-3 to Al Sailiya in their opener in Round 2 and then to Al Wakrah by the same scoreline in Round 3.
Their game against Al Sadd in Round 1 was postponed owing to both teams’ campaigns in the 2020 AFC Champions League. It has now been scheduled for Saturday, 7th November.
The Red Knights will definitely look for a win when they take on Qatar SC, who are third in the group with four points. The Kings have the same number of points with Al Sailiya, but are placed above on goal difference (-1 as against Al Sailiya’s -2.
Qatar SC have a victory, draw and defeat each to show for their efforts. They beat holders Al Sadd by a 3-2 margin in Round 2, but had lost 0-2 to Al Khor after starting their campaign with a 1-1 draw with Al Wakrah.
