Umm Salal coach Laurent Banide spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 7 match against Al Khor.
“The game against Al Khor is going to be difficult as they are a tricky side. We focused mainly on tactics these days. We must continue our good work. We will train on Thursday also and we will be ready for the game on Friday.
“We have had a good run of two wins. We were in a bad position before our victory over Al Gharafa in Week 5. Then, we beat Al Kharaitiyat although not by a big margin.
“Now, we have a good chance to be on 13 points. We also know tough times will come and we have to gear up for them. That is very important. All games need good preparations.
“(Yannick) Sagbo is an asset for us. He has already scored six goals and is the third-highest scorer in the QNB Stars League. He works on his game alone also. He has a good spirit and has the potential to score more and more goals.
“I wish Al Khor good luck. I have coached them. They are desperate for points,” said Banide.
