Paris Saint-Germain keeper Kevin Trapp rejoins Eintracht Frankfurt on loan

All three of Paris Saint-Germain's strike force were on the score-sheet in a comfortable 3-1 win over Angers. Paris Saint-Germain's Angel Di Maria insists Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani and Neymar have a good relationship, despite previous disputes over penalty kicks.

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Kevin Trapp has returned to his former club Eintracht Frankfurt on loan until the end of the season.

Germany international Trapp joined PSG in 2015 but has slipped to third choice behind Gianluigi Buffon and Alphonse Areola.

The 28-year-old returns to Frankfurt on a temporary basis with no option to buy after the German club's keeper Frederik Ronnow suffered an injury.

"Unfortunately, our goalkeeper suffered a knee injury in preparation that has not quite healed -- it is still bothering him," Eintracht sporting director Bruno Hubner said.

"We believe in Frederik's qualities and we are convinced. However, he has also given us the opportunity to sign Kevin, who is ready to play and is also a very identifiable figure with great leadership potential."

Trapp, who is under contract with PSG until 2020, has made 91 appearances for them in all competitions and won two Ligue 1 titles with the club.

"While in Paris, I regularly recalled my great times in Frankfurt -- notably the 2013-14 Europa League season," Trapp said. "I would like to experience that again, of course.

"It is important that I get back into an environment where I feel good and can play -- I am looking forward to another year with Eintracht."

Meanwhile, PSG coach Thomas Tuchel has said the imminent arrival of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will increase Timothy Weah's competition for minutes.

"With Eric Maxim coming in, it is true that there are many attacking players," he said at a prematch news conference ahead of Saturday's trip to Nimes. "However, Eric Maxim and Timothy have completely different profiles."

Strasbourg and Angers have seen interest in Weah rebuffed in recent weeks.
