QNB Stars League — September, 2018 — Yannick Sagbo (Umm Salal)

Yannick Sagbo of Umm Salal has been adjudged the QNB Stars League’s best player for the month of September, 2018.

The Ivorian striker played for Umm Salal in Weeks 5, 6 and 7 with a total of 291.4 minutes on the pitch.

He scored three goals with an average of one goal per game and played a crucial role in Umm Salal’s three wins, against Al Gharafa, Al Kharatiyat and Al Khor.

Sagbo is one of the most prominent players of Umm Salal ever since he joined The Orange Fortress a few seasons ago. He is an active presence on the field and leads the attack through the middle as well as both wings.

The 30-year-old also plays a defensive role when the team retreats.

The technical analysis of Bounedjah released by STATS, the official statistics and figures provider for the QNB Stars League, showed he made an average of 36.8 passes, of which 30.6 were successful. He scored all his goals from inside the box.

The physical aspects revealed that the ace player covered a total distance of 8,038.1 metres with a high speed distance of 277.3, very high speed distance of 85.3.
