Qatar SC face Al Wakrah in Week 13 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:30 at the Qatar SC Stadium on Friday, 24th January, 2020.
Qatar SC are eighth in the standings with 14 points (four victories, two draws and six defeats). Their goal difference is -3 (14 goals for and 17 against).
The Kings have been doing extremely well ever since former Qatar international midfielder Wesam Rizik took charge of the side. They even held leaders Al Duhail goalless in Week 12 before the tournament took a break during which the 2020 Qatar Cup was held.
Promoted side Al Wakrah have also been doing well under Spanish coach Marquez Lopez. They are placed seventh with 15 points (four victories, three draws and five defeats). The Blue Wave’s goal difference is the same as that of Qatar SC (-3, having scored 18 goals and conceded 21).
Al Wakrah had recorded one of the biggest upsets in this season’s league by shocking reigning champions Al Sadd 2-1 in the previous round.
Al Wakrah had beaten Qatar SC 2-0 in the first leg.
