Al Arabi face Umm Salal in Week 14 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 18:45 at the Al Arabi Stadium on Thursday, 30th January, 2020.
Al Arabi, coming off back-to-back defeats (1-6 against Al Sadd in their deferred match from Week 5 and 1-3 against Al Duhail last week), will be more keen than ever to get back to the winning path in their bid to be back among the elite top four.
Al Arabi are fifth in the standings with 18 points (five victories, as many defeats and three draws). The Dream Team’s goal difference is +2 (24 goals for and 22 against).
Umm Salal are on a high following their 1-0 victory over Al Khor in Week 13 and will look to build on it as it will help them get off the basement, where they now lie with eight points (two wins, as many draws and nine defeats). Their goal difference is -19 (eight goals for and 27 against).
The Orange Fortress are facing relegation threat along with Al Khor and Al Shahania.
Umm Salal and Al Shahania have same number of points, but the latter are placed above by virtue of better goal difference (-15).
Al Arabi had beaten Umm Salal 5-1 in the first leg of 2019-20 QNB Stars League.
