Al Gharafa face Qatar SC in Week 14 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 18:45 at the Al Gharafa Stadium on Friday, 31st January, 2020.
Al Gharafa are on a high following their 4-2 win over Al Rayyan last week. The Cheetahs thus put behind their shock 1-2 loss to Al Shahania in the previous round.
Al Gharafa are occupying the fourth position with 23 points (seven wins, two draws and four defeats) and they will be keen to stay in the top-four bracket, which will give them a chance in next year’s AFC Champions League. Their goal difference is +6 (26 goals for and 20 against).
Al Gharafa will mainly depend on players such as new recruit Jonathan Kodjia, who hit a hat-trick against Al Rayyan on his debut in Qatar, the Algerian duo of Sofianne Hanni, Adlene Guedioura, Ahmed Alaaeldin, Amro Seraj, Othman Al Yahri and Muad Hassan.

The Kings’ performance has improved considerably after former Qatar international Wesam Rizik replaced Spaniard Carlos Alos Ferrer at their helm. They held Al Wakrah goalless last week before holding strong contenders Al Duhail to a goalless draw in Week 12.
Qatar SC boast of players like Brazilian Kayke Rodriguez, Uzbek Sardor Rashidov, Abdenasser El Khayati and Ahmed Moein.
Al Gharafa had beaten Qatar SC 3-1 in the first leg of 2019-20 QNB Stars League.
