Umm Salal face Al Sadd in Week 15 of the 2019-20 QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:45 at the Al Gharafa Stadium on Saturday, 22nd February, 2020.

Umm Salal fared well in the last two rounds, beating Al Khor 1-0 before holding Al Arabi to a 1-1 draw, but are still in danger zone because of a string of negative results.

They are 11th in the table with nine points, just one point more than bottom-placed Al Shahania. The Orange Fortress have the least scoring record among all 12 teams, with only nine goals for, and conceded 28 goals to have the worst goal difference (-19).

Umm Salal have two victories and three draws to their credit, while they are the side which has lost most matches (nine).

On the other hand, holders Al Sadd, who have won both titles so far on offer this season (Sheikh Jassim Cup and Qatar Cup), are flying high. They are third in the standings with 30 points, and only three points separate them from leaders Al Duhail and one from second-placed Al Rayyan.

Al Sadd have 10 victories and four defeats against their name, and have a goal difference of +19 (42 goals for and 23 against), the most by any team.

The Wolves had recently made it to the quarterfinals of Amir Cup by defeating Al Kharaitiyat 3-1 and semifinals of Ooredoo Cup after beating Qatar SC on penalties (1-1 after regular time, 5-4 in tie-breaker).

Al Sadd, who will miss the injured trio of Hassan Al Haydous, Salem Al Hajri and Ali Asad, had beaten Umm Salal 2-1 in the first leg of 2019-20 QNB Stars League.
