Al Arabi face Al Gharafa in Week 3 of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 20:30 at the Al Arabi Stadium on Sunday, 13th September, 2020.
The encounter features two clubs with rich history and tradition in Qatar football with a passionate fan base.
Al Arabi have not had a good start this season. They suffered the heartbreak of conceding a last-minute draw against Al Khor after leading by two goals in Week 1.
The Dream Team, under Icelander Heimir Hallgrimsson, then lost 0-2 to Al Ahli in the last round.
Al Arabi, in ninth position with one point, will look for a turnaround in their fortunes as they will be keen to better their seventh-place finish last season.
Al Gharafa started off on a winning note, beating Qatar SC 2-0, but they lost 1-3 to Al Rayyan in Week 2.
Al Gharafa, coached by Serb Slavisa Jokanovic, had finished a creditable fourth in the 2019-20 season.
Both teams have players of high calibre to deliver the goods and that will add spice to the contest.
