Al Ahli face Al Sailiya in Week 4 of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 17:30 at the Al Ahli Stadium on Sunday, 18th October, 2020.
Al Ahli, coached by Montenegrin Nebojsa Jovovic, are leading the table with nine points. They have an all-win record, having beaten Al Wakrah (2-1), Al Arabi (2-0) and Al Khor (1-0) in that order.
The Brigadiers will look to maintain their winning run in their bid to ensure a better finish than their ninth place in last season’s league.
Al Sailiya, who held last season’s runners-up Al Rayyan to a creditable 1-1 draw in Week 1, crashed to a 1-5 loss to Al Sadd in the last round. Sami Trabelsi-coached The Peregrines, however, bounced back with a 2-0 win over promoted Al Kharaitiyat in Week 3 before the tournament took a break.
Al Sailiya are currently sixth with four points.
Outstanding overseas recruits, such as Nabil El Zhar and Hernan Perez of Al Ahli, and Tiago Bezerra and Mohanad Ali of Al Sailiya, along with talented Qatari players will make the contest gripping.
