Umm Salal face Al Kharaitiyat in Week 8 of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 17:30 at the Al Ahli Stadium on Wednesday, 9th December, 2020.
Both teams will fight it out with the aim of collecting some points as they seek to stay away from the danger zone.
Umm Salal, who lost 1-3 to Al Sadd in Week 7, are the basement side with only four points. The Orange Fortress have one win to show for their efforts, while they drew one match and lost five.
Both Umm Salal and Al Khor have same number of points, but the latter are placed above on goal difference (-5 as against Umm Salal’s -9). Umm Salal scored three goals, but conceded 12.
Al Kharaitiyat, who lost 1-4 to defending champions Al Duhail in the previous round, are in ninth position with six points (two victories and five defeats). The Thunders’ goal difference is -11 (six goals for and 17 against).
Coaches Aziz Ben Askar of Umm Salal and Yousef Adam of Al Kharaitiyat will be keen to make a turnaround in their teams’ fortunes as both are coming off defeats.
