Al-Sadd concluded its preparations for the upcoming QSL Cup clash against Al-Ahli, with a final training session on Thursday evening at the club’s training facility. The Group B – Round 5 fixture is set to be played from 6:45 PM onwards at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium.
The Wolves go into the game with a tally of five points, after a win over Al-Shahaniya, draws with Al-Sailiya and Al-Khor, and a defeat to Al-Rayyan. The game against Al-Ahli will be inconsequential for Al-Sadd, as they have already qualified for the quarter-finals after securing a spot in the top four of the group.
Most of Al-Sadd’s first team players will miss the game, as they are away with the senior and U-23 national teams.
