QNB Stars League team Umm Salal renewed the contracts of defender Omar Yahia and goalkeeper Issa Shaaban for another season.
Omar is one of the prominent young players who missed much action last season due to an injury.
Issa too did not play much, but is a player with great potential.
Umm Salal, who had recently strengthened their ranks with Nigerian striker Christian Osaguona, also roped in Atef Mohamed Mouladi for two seasons.
Meanwhile, the trio of Bilal Mohammed, Anas Mubarak and Nasser Al Nasr joined The Orange Fortress, while they extended the deal with defender Juad Ahnash for another season.
Umm Salal players will start training in Doha on 1st July under the watchful eyes of new coach Laurent Banide before they travel to Slovenia for the pre-season camp from 10th to 25th July during which they will play four friendly matches.
