We have been working to collect full points: Al Shahania coach Murcia

Al Shahania coach Jose Murcia spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 5 game against Qatar SC.

“It is going to be a difficult game. In fact, it will be difficult for both teams. We had a tough match against Al Sadd. We have been working to collect full points against Qatar SC.

“Qatar SC are a strong side. They can be really tricky and have some very good players in their ranks such as Samuel Eto’o and Osama Omari. Still, we will play for three points.

“During the break, we had been working hard. We have had problems with injuries to some of our players. The FIFA break is good for some teams, while it is not so good for other teams. We need more games.

“Against Al Sadd, we conceded four goals in the first half. Our defence must improve. There are many areas for improvement. Our players need to get more experience. That has been affecting their performance.

“We cannot defend like how the players of Al Sadd and Al Duhail do. When you play Al Sadd and Al Kharaitiyat, you must show the same mentality. That should be the attitude,” said Murcia.
