“You can see that, after I took over the side, the team is facing up to the challenges in the last three rounds even though we do not have a single point to show for our efforts. We are scoring goals.
“Individual mistakes and missed opportunities did us in. We are trying our best to avoid them. We still have a lot of games left. Our players have to stay motivated.
“We are giving special attention towards giving confidence to our players. They are not bad. They have the potential to deliver the goods.
“Al Gharafa are a formidable side despite them losing the last two games. I do not want to speak about the team’s future at this moment. We are getting negative results. We need to stop that immediately.
“Our players have improved offensively and defensively, yet we are conceding goals. However, my players are now ready to score. We can still think of recruiting players,” said El Amri.
