Al Shahania coach Jose Murcia spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 7 match against Al Rayyan.
“We are trying to improve our position in the table and compensate for the recent loss that we suffered at the hands of Al Arabi. We know that Al Rayyan will try to make a strong comeback into the tournament after they got beaten by Al Sadd in the Qatar Clasico. But we will play for a positive result.
“We have a strong squad and we will play for victory. Ours is more of a team work and that is our strength.
“We have worked on our mistakes and I have great confidence in my players and their ability to come up with a special display despite the strength of Al Rayyan.
“Both teams are coming from defeats, so both will try to react strongly. However, we will not be pushovers for Al Rayyan,” said Murcia.
