Al Rayyan coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 7 match against Al Shahania.
“For us, the importance of this game is that it comes after we lost the Qatar Clasico to Al Sadd. We are seeking a strong comeback by getting a positive result. We need to win.
“Al Shahaniya are a strong side and we have to be wary of them. They have got some good results.
“We have put behind the loss to Al Sadd. They are the best team around at the moment, but the season is still long. We are working now to prove ourselves.
“It is a fact that Al Sadd and Al Duhail are the best sides so far in the league. We are keen that our players are not at a disadvantage psychologically.
“We worked on the psychological aspects of our players. Al Rayyan are a big team and we will not give up just because of one defeat. We are now focusing on the Al Shahania match,” said Rodolfo.
