Al Duhail right-back Murad Naji rued their loss to Al Gharafa in the QSL Cup final, saying it was not their day and that some of their main players were doing duty for the Qatar national team.
However, he pointed out that the absence of a number of key players was not an excuse for the defeat. Overall, it was not their day. He admitted Al Gharafa played well, closed the space for them and managed to defend the one-goal lead. He congratulated Al Gharafa on the success.
