Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Umm Salal.
“Umm Salal are a very good side in all aspects and we will work to be at the top of our level. We hope to succeed and resume our winning run.
“I was happy that we could beat Al Kharaitiyat by a 5-0 margin. I was also happy with the fact that our players were at the top tactically, unlike they were during our games against Al Duhail and Al Sadd.
“Possession in football alone does not guarantee victories. Good defending and creating scoring opportunities are crucial.
“Umm Salal remain a good side with some outstanding players despite their slump in form of late. I do not think any team can be complacent against them.
“We will keep working hard with the aim of staying in the top four. Also, we are keen on improving our performance in the second leg of QNB Stars League,” said Trabelsi.
