Al Sailiyah coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 9 match against Qatar SC.
“This is a very important match and we are facing a difficult side in Qatar SC. It is a tough match and that can be said for both teams. Our opponents are really good. They are organised, well-placed technically and offer a great level of competition. They have balance in their attacking force. They have confidence because of three consecutive wins.
“We will try to exploit the morale we have in our camp after our recent win over Al Duhail. We will focus to provide a better level. We will try to reach a balance in our team and try to close gaps with top teams. We must have the same mentality we had against Al Duhail and Al Gharafa, We must have high discipline and high concentration in our matches. We can be among the top teams,” said Trabelsi.
Al Sailiya player Mohanad Ali said, “Our preparations for this match have been good. All players are ready and our goal is to present the best challenge to achieve victory and collect the three points. Our win against Al Duhail in the last round was an important victory because it came after a very difficult match against a strong team that has players at the highest level of skill and experience.
“The reason I did well in the last game is because of the comfort level at the club and with my teammates. To become the league’s top scorer is a dream and ambition of every striker and therefore I will strive to achieve that and score a large number of goals with Al Sailiya. I hope to continue hitting the net in the next confrontation against Qatar SC also.”
