Al Wakrah coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 5 match against Al Arabi.
“We have prepared in the best possible way under the current circumstances. We only had two days to train and, before that, two days of recovery. We worked hard during training to deal with the difficult match against Al Arabi.
“The team’s technical staff and I are preparing the team in the way that it reaches maximum degree of readiness. Of course, this is not an easy job. We stopped for a month and now we play two games in five days, which is not easy.
“Currently, our focus is on the next match against Al Arabi. Without a doubt, we are trying to correct the mistakes we made in the last match against Al Rayyan, so we can get back to the winning path,” said Marquez.
