We’re up to Al Duhail challenge: Qatar SC coach Abdulla

Published on: 01 October 2018

Qatar SC coach Abdulla Mubarak spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 4 match against Al Duhail.

“Facing Al Duhail is a tough challenge for us. We worked very hard for almost two weeks and we are prepared for the game. I only wish my players stay highly concentrated throughout the match.

“Each game needs a different strategy and this one is no different. We will try to strike a balance between defence and attack, and everyone is looking for results.

“We began well by defeating Al Gharafa, but lost the next two games. But if you look at our stats in the matches where we lost, they were in favour of us.

“We attacked a lot too. I believe in the ability of my players. The atmosphere in the team is good and the team spirit is high.

“The addition of top name Samuel Eto’o has added value to the team. Syrian striker Osama Omari is also coming good for us regularly. With them in our ranks, we can do many things in the QNB Stars League.

“Twenty of our players turned up for a 7’O clock training session at a beach recently and that shows their determination to win matches,” said Abdulla.
