Al Khor coach Omar Najhi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 6 match against Qatar SC.
“We are trying to arrest the slump. We are working hard to wriggle out of the situation as we face Qatar SC. Thank God, our preparations are on right track. The players’ morale is high.
“As far as I am concerned, I did not take time to adapt to the players after I took charge (from Adel Sellimi) as I was with our junior team. That made things go well as we worked on physical and psychological aspects of the team. It is always good working in a familiar atmosphere and I feel that will help us achieve some success.
“I worked with the players during training to correct some of our mistakes and we are seeking victory against Qatar SC in order to put ourselves on the right track.
“I took up the task in a difficult situation and this is not the first time that I have done so.
“We have analysed Qatar SC, and we know their strengths and weaknesses. I have confidence in my players. Whoever will take the field against Qatar SC will bring out their best. We have players to deliver the goods,” said Omar.
