Al Khor coach Frederic Hantz spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 9 match against Al Wakrah.
“Al Wakrah are a very good team, and their level is close to that of Al Gharafa and Qatar SC. We have to defend better. We must change something in the team, have a balance in the squad and all players must adapt.
“Now, we are going through a difficult period, but we are working together, be it technical, medical or administrative staff, and we are sure we can tide over the crisis. We have to focus on Al Wakrah match now,” said Hantz.
Al Khor player Anas Al Fadel said, “Our recent results did not affect us negatively and positive spirit is present in the team, especially in training. Our preparations for this match were good and we worked to correct our mistakes. We must work on the defensive side more because we conceded too many goals in the last two games.
“We watched a lot of matches of Al Wakrah and the coach will find the appropriate combination to effectively deal with them. We have full confidence to stop these negative results by joining the technical and administrative staff and the players to get out of them and appear in the best way in the upcoming matches.”
