Umm Salal coach Aziz Ben Askar spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 5 match against Qatar SC.
“Given the conditions we are going through, we hope we will overcome them. The team has performed well during training in the past days.
“Regarding the current position of the team, which is placed 12th with one point, I would say it is very natural that we face such matters. But we have to overcome difficulties and put them behind us.
“Our ambition is to win and it is the same as Qatar SC or any team that enters the field. But we have to focus on the match in order to win. In general, our team is strong and ready to face Qatar SC and we must know that this match is very difficult especially since both teams have a common goal, which is victory,” said Ben Askar.
