Al Gharafa coach Christian Gourcuff spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 18 match against Al Kharaitiyat.
“It will be a very tough game against Al Kharaitiyat. Our games with them are not good memories, we lost to them in the first leg of this tournament and also in the QSL Cup semifinal, but for the disciplinary decision that favoured us and we went on to lift the cup.
“We seek to overcome them in this game. We have to play it with great concentration so that we can achieve a positive result. We will play for a win.
“We will play all our remaining matches as finals. We have to win, so we can compensate for our exit from the AFC Champions League in play-off stage.
“From the beginning, we played with our four professionals, but I also have to give chance to young players, in line with the club’s strategy. I don’t have any problem with any player.
“It is not easy to change players when you like, they have contracts with the club. I always do my best in order to take the best out of them. We can evaluate the team’s performance at the end of the season,” said Gourcuff.
