Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez continued to follow up on his side’s training remotely, as they work on maintaining their fitness levels at home while all football activity remains suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Xavi appointed first team physical fitness coach Ivan Torres to supervise the morning and evening training regime for each player, as part of the physical training for the upcoming period.

Torres is communicating with all the players on a daily basis to follow up on the training exercises.

Meanwhile, Tarek Salman continued on his road to recovery, under the supervision of the national team medical staff. He had suffered an ankle injury during Al-Sadd’s league game against Al-Rayyan.

Tarek has completed 80% of his treatment and recovery process, and is set to reach full fitness in the upcoming week.
