Al Khor CEO Abdulla Al Mohannadi Has assured that the Knights have what it takes to beat the drop to the Qatar Gas League. The Al Khor boss spoke on the plight of his side in a exclusive interview with QSL online.

“We have a huge confidence in the players at the club, they are well aware of the situation and they know exactly what they have to do to avoid our situation” confirmed Al Mohannadi when asked about the mood of the Al Khor players.

Al Mohannadi also revealed the hard work the club is undertaking to prepare the side for the final three games of the season. “The management is setting the team both physically and mentally for the coming rounds. Everyone is working hard to create the most appropriate atmosphere for the team to do their best in the remaining three games.”

“Al Khor lost some of their games while they were the better team on the field of play. We all know that everything comes down to the results. The team is capable of overcoming these difficult circumstances to continue in the QSL and avoid relegation” added the Khor CEO when asked about his side’s recent form.

Commenting on team condition, Al Mohannadi assured that all the players resumed training sessions and all are doing their best for coming matches.

Al Khor is currently in eleventh place in the QSL standings and could be set for a relegation play-off against in the second placed side in the Qatar Gas League. Despite their plight, Al Mohannadi is only focusing on survival. “We are aiming to avoid this situation and avoid relegation completely. Despite the tough games ahead the management and players are determined to reach our goal.”
