Qatar SC coach Sergio Batista spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 9 match against Umm Salal.
“My team is very strong, we will play a strong game. From what I see from our training sessions, my players have a great desire to win, which is what we want.
“We played out a goalless draw with Umm Salal in the QSL Cup. Watching them in action gave me an idea of that team. But the league is different from cup competition.
“In general, Umm Salal are a strong team that includes a number of outstanding players, including Yannick Sagbo and Mahmoud Al Mawas, who have great speed and intelligence,” said Batista.
Qatar SC player Rashid Al Barashdi said, “The Umm Salal match is of great importance for us in view of the team’s desire to keep winning, especially since the victory over Al Kharaitiyat in the previous round gave us confidence.
“Umm Salal are a strong side, but we will play for three points. We will do our best and implement the coach’s strategies. I thank the coach for his confidence in my abilities.”
