The AFC champions league quarter-finals draw was held this morning in the Malasiyan capital Kuala Lumpur , and was attended by Ismail Ahmed the team manager and Mohamed Bashir Al Sulaiti the media coordinator , and the draw put Al Duhail with Persepolis(IRN) in the next round where the home match will be held in the last week of next August on Abdullah Bin Khalifa stadium while the away match in the first week of Septemeber in the Iranian capital Tehran .
Al Duhail had reached this stage after it was in the top place of its Group B without a draw or loss , where its group included Zob Ahan (IRN) , Lokomotiv Uzbekistan , Al Wahda (UAE) , and after Al Duhail won over Al Ain in the away and home match to be the first Asian team that reaches the quarter-finals without losing any point .
The draw was as follows :
Esteghlal (IRN) - Al Sadd (QAT)
Al Duhail (QAT) - Persepolis (IRN)
Kashima Antlers (JPN) - Tianjin Quanijian (CHN)
Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors (KOR) - Suwon Samsung Bluewings (KOR)
